Checking the Battery on Brydge for iPad

To check the battery level on your Brydge for iPad, locate and press the Battery Key on the keyboard (not all models will have this button; skip to the next section if yours does not)

The indicator light on the Power Key will now flash three times. The color of the light denotes the approximate battery level:

If the battery is lower than 9%, the keyboard backlighting will be disabled to conserve power and the light will flash red continuously.

Newer Brydge for iPad keyboards may not have a dedicated battery key. If your Brydge does not have a dedicated battery key, or you'd prefer to monitor the battery level directly from your iPad, swipe to your Today View and locate the iOS Batteries widget. If you do not see a Batteries widget in your Today View you can add one by doing the following:

  1. Swipe to Today View
  2. Scroll to the bottom and click the Edit button
  3. Scroll down the list that appears and click Batteries
  4. You can now select the widget size that works best for you, move it where you'd like, and when finished, click Done.

please note: Charging the Brydge can take up to three hours. When charging, the indicator light will remain solid red and turn off when charging has completed.
